At Mira, not far from Venice, is Villa Margherita, situated on perhaps the most scenic bend of the River Brenta, which mirrors the most beautiful Palladio villas created for the nobles families of the Serenissima Republic.
The approach to Villa Margherita is along a romantic lime avenue with interspersed antique statues.
During the 17th centuty the Villa housed the guest rooms of the noble Venetian Contarini family and is today considered an example of a Veneto “house”, in which simplicity and elegance are at the service of its patrons.
